Flower sleep Sound clown
Description
The music play concert "Flower Sleep" is a storytelling-based creative performance under the theme of Baekje dynasty's "Domisholhwa," which was published in the Samguk Yusa. The story begins with King Gaero of Baekje testing the incision of Arang, the wife of a carpenter, Domi. Sound clowns want to make traditional cultural heritage easy and fun to the audience through "Flower Sleep" and share a message about the painful and innocent incision of love that is easy to lose to modern people. Musicically, the musical aims to popularize Gugak by combining Gugak elements such as rhythm, pansori, and Sinawi with familiar pop music genres such as ballad, jazz and Latin. The 40-60-minute performance, taking the form of a madang play, will unfold the story with the talk of the soundtracker, and will combine the music of the ear-sounding sound clown with the beautiful choreography of Korean dancers to watch a musical theater concert as if watching a drama.
